Westchester County Department of Social Services provides temporary shelter to homeless families, singles and childless couples.

Families seeking shelter after business hours or on weekends should contact DSS Emergency Services at (914) 995-2099.

Single individuals seeking shelter from the cold can go to one of drop-in centers in the “List of Emergency Housing Locations”

If you are a veteran and you are homeless, Contact the VA National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at 877-4AID-VET (877-424-3838) . You will be connected with the local VA for immediate assistance.
